Editorial policy

Urban Weekly Dispatch aims to make city life easier to read through clear explanations, grounded examples and a visible distinction between what can be observed and what is interpretation.

Accuracy and context

We check factual statements against suitable sources and review names, terms and context before publication. We do not present an impression as a measured fact, or imply that a feature means the same thing in every place. Where evidence is incomplete or a subject varies by location, we make that limit clear. Articles are edited for clarity, relevance and support for their claims.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. A paid placement or other partner material is identified clearly as sponsored or partner content, and does not buy favourable editorial coverage. We do not accept payment in exchange for changing an editorial conclusion.

Corrections

If you spot an error, contact us with the article title and the detail you believe needs correction. We review correction requests and, when a substantive error is confirmed, amend the text and make the change clear to readers where appropriate.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. They are used as visual aids, not as documentary evidence of a real street, building or event. We aim to label such illustrations clearly and do not use them to support factual claims.
